The North West Africa Maritime SAR Region is a collaboration between the nations of Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Gambia, Mauritania, Morocco and Senegal to develop and implement the "Regional SAR plan North West Africa Region" as part of the IMO Global SAR Plan.
The North & West Africa Maritime SAR Region is developing and improving SAR Services, providing training programmes and assisting with several missions amongst the countries of North West Africa to prevent the loss of life in the region's waters.
